Portable Solar Panels
Also called solar cell module, are assembled by several solar cells. It is the core part of the solar power generation system, and it is also the most important part of the solar power generation system. Solar cell, also known as "solar chip" or "photocell", is a photoelectric semiconductor wafer directly generated by sunlight. Single cell solar cells can not be used directly for power supply. At present, crystalline silicon (including polycrystalline and monocrystalline silicon) is the most important photovoltaic material, its market share is above 90%, and it is still the main material of solar cell for a long time in the future. The production technology of polycrystalline silicon materials has been controlling in the hands of 10 factories from 7 companies, they all come from three countries, there are United States, Japan and Germany, forming the situation of technical blockade and market monopoly. The mainly demand for polycrystalline silicon comes from semiconductors and solar cells. According to the requirement of purity, it is divided into electronic grade and solar energy grade. Among them, electronic grade polycrystalline silicon accounts for about 55%, and solar cell grade accounts for 45%.
With the rapid development of the photovoltaic industry, the growth of the demand for solar polycrystalline silicon is higher than semiconductor polycrystalline silicon. It is expected that the demand for solar polycrystalline silicon will exceed the electronic grade polycrystalline silicon by 2020. In 1994, the total output of solar cells was only 69MW in the world, and in 2004 it was close to 1200MW, which increased by 17 times in just 10 years. Experts predict that the solar photovoltaic industry will exceed nuclear power in the first half of twenty-first Century to become one of the most important basic energy sources.
